Supplies Needed Paint Shop Pro
Tube of choice. I am using the gorgeous artwork by Martin Abel. To purchase a license to use his work, please go Here
Two fonts of choice.
Mask, I am using one of Becky's, 034. You can get it Here ZIP 1
Filters Unlimited 2 but you can do it with normal PSP Textures
Open a New Blank 500 x 500 Image and flood fill white.
Choose two colours. Black for the foreground and a colour from your tube for the background.
Select text tool and choose a fat font
Stroke width 3 Write the first inital of your name and click okay using the nodes stretch your letter up until you are happy with it. Convert to a raster layer
click your magic wand and select the inside of your letter goto selections Modify Contract by 3 Goto Effects
Plugins Filters-Filter Unlimited 2.0, select Paper Textures then Fibrous Paper - Coarse, default settings Apply Selections Select None. If you DO NOT have this filter just play the textures avaliable in Paint Shop Pro
Selections Select none. Once you have your textured letter click on your magic wand and select your black outline
of your letter then goto effects Drop shadow with these settings ![]() Now for the rest of your name decrease the size of your text as you want it smaller than your first letter (refer to my tag if you want) Repeat the settings that you used for your first letter
Next open you tube
resize it if you wish paste onto your canvas and position it onto of your frist letter duplicate your letter and move it so it is above your letter now with your eraser tool erase any area of your letter where you want to be able to see your tube Here's mine ![]() Dropshadow your tube
Merge all visible EXCEPT the white layer New Raster layer flood fill a choice of choice, I used black Goto Layers New Mask Layer from Image find the mask in the drop down box and apply ![]() Move it so it is above your white layer
Move it so it covers your name . Now with your selection tool draw a square like mine ![]() Now open your tube back up and mirror it and paste it onto you canvas and lower the opacity
to about around 40, play with the settings until you are happy, then goto selections, invert then press delete. ![]() Select none!
Nearly done lol
Choose your text tool and with your other font write a saying or anything you want and position it under the smaller bit of your name Add your copyright. If you choose to resize add your copyright AFTER you resize overwise it will be a mess up your copyright Save Done |
