Precious Moments

Tutorial was written on the 10th May 2008 N.B This tut is only a guide, you do NOT have to have the tubes, font ect to do this tut Please do not feel that the only way you can do this tut is by having everything I do because you don't. Just have fun!!! Supplies Needed Tube of Choice - Ronne Barton from MPT here Scrap Kit called Precious Moments by Diva aka Mandy here Font of Choice - Bonheur Royale Mask of choice - WSL_Mask221 by Weescotslass here Open a blank 600x500 canvas Flood fill white Select your selection tool - draw a medium sized rectangle Copy and paste your first paper (I used Precious Moments Paper 2) as a new layer Selections - Invert - Delete Select none Again select your selection tool - draw a smaller rectangle Copy and paste your second paper (I used Precious Moments Paper 4) as a new layer Selections - Invert - Delete Select none Apply a dropshadow of choice to both layers Open Precious Moments Stars 1 - Resize until happy Copy and Paste it on to your canvas and move it below the first rectangle Apply the same dropshadow Open Precious Moments Stitches 4 - Resize until happy Copy and Paste the stitches on to your canvas Move them to the bottom of the top rectangle Select your eraser tool and erase the stitches that go past the width of the rectangle Duplicate Image - Flip Select the first stitches layer and merge down Again paste the stitches on to your canvas but move them to the right of the rectangle Image - Rotate - Free Rotate - 90 All Layers Unchecked Select your eraser tool and again erase the stitches that go past the height of the rectangle Merge down Apply a lighter dropshadow than before Open Precious Moments Charm 2 - Resize until happy Move to the top right corner of your tag Open Precious Moments Flower 2 - Resize until happy Move to the top right corner above the links of the charm so it covers the links Open Precious Moments Frame 2 - Resize until happy Using the pick tool Rotate to the left Select your magic wand and select inside of the frame Selections - Modify - Expand by 2 Paste a paper of choice as a new layer layer (I used Precious Moments Paper 6) Selections - Invert - Delete Selections - Invert Paste your tube as a new layer - move it into position Selections - Invert - Delete Select none Apply dropshadow of choice Again open Moments Frame 2 - Resize smaller than previous Using the pick tool Rotate to the right Duplicate Image - Flip Select your magic wand and select inside of the top frame Selections - Modify - Expand by 2 Paste a paper of choice as a new layer (I used Precious Moments Paper 6) Selections - Invert - Delete Selections - Invert Paste your tube as a new layer - move it into position Selections - Invert - Delete Select none Add a dropshadow to the frame Select the bottom frame Select your magic wand and select inside of the top frame Selections - Modify - Expand by 2 Paste a paper of choice as a new layer (I used Precious Moments Paper 6) Selections - Invert - Delete Selections - Invert Paste your tube as a new layer - move it into position Selections - Invert - Delete Select none Add a dropshadow to the frame Open Precious Moments Paper 6 Layers - New Mask layer - from image Find your mask in the drop down box and click ok Delete mask and yes click merge Copy and paste it as a new layer on canvas just above the white layer Move it into position - Resize if needed Add your name and copyright Save!
