Tutorial Wrote on the 26th January 2008
Supplies
Image/Photo of choice (I used a photo of my own)
Accents of choice ( The Ribbon I used is from a Kit called 'Forgotten Not' can download here
Open your image of choice
Go to Image, add borders, Size 2 (Symmetric) Colour Black
Go to Image, add borders, Size 10 (Symmetric) Colour white
Go to Image, add borders, Size 2 (Symmetric) Colour Black
Convert to raster layer
Go to Image, canvas Size - Width 700 and Height 500
Add a new layer, flood fill it white and move to the bottom
Dublicate your image twice
On the orginal go to image, free rotate.
Left rotate, free 5
All layers and Rotate single layer unchecked
On the first copy (which should be the second of your images) go to image, free rotate.
Left rotate, free 5
All layers and Rotate single layer unchecked
Add a dropshadow to each image
Open kb-forgottennot-ribbon-cluster3, resize it until happy. Either colourize to match your images or greyscale like I did.
Paste it on your canvas and position it where happy
Add same dropshadow as before
Now dublicate the top Image layer twice
Move one to just before your white layer (we will use this one in a minute)
Click back on to the top image
Go to Effects, Art Media Effects, Black Pencil
Detail 100
Opacity 20
Now on your layer pallete, change your blend mode to Overlay
Now click on the image you moved above your white layer
Effects - Mosaic Glass
Number of colums 25
Number of Rows 25
Symmetric
Add your dropshadow
Now for the text, add a new raster layer
Select your selection tool and drop a strip at the bottom of the photo, flood fill white
lower the opacity to 48. Add a quote of choice
Select none
Do the same for the top of your image and add your name
Add any accents of choice
Add artist copyright
Save!
