N.B This tut is only a guide, you do NOT have to have the tubes, font ect to do this tut Please do not feel that the only way you can do this tut is by having everything I do because you don't. Just have fun!!!
Supplies Needed
Tubes/Images of Choice (I used Suzanne Woolcott, Purchased from AMI, http://www.artisticmindsinc.com/ Scrap Kit by Petit Moineaux http://petitmoineaux.blogspot.com/2007/10/petit-artiste.html Mask of choice (I used Becky_Mask023) Fonts of choice (I used Ben Brown and Childrens Play)
Open a new 600x500 blank canvas Flood fill white Open petitartiste_petit_moineaux (25) (Canvas)- resize it by about 25% Copy the canvas tube and paste it onto your canvas as a new layer Using your magic wand select inside of the canvas Selections - Modify - Expand by 2 Paste your image as a new layer - move it below the canvas tube Once happy go to selections - invert - delete Select none Duplicate the tube layer Rename one of the layers Curl and hide! Select the other layer Effects - Art Media Effects - Brush Strokes - with these settings
Lower the opacity to about 61% Open petitartiste_petit_moineaux (16) (Splat) - resize it about 50% Copy the splat and paste it onto your canvas as a new layer Selections - Select all - Float - Defloat Paste the image you used earlier as a new layer Once happy go to selections - invert - delete Add a dropshadow of your choice Copy the image you used earlier as a new canvas Layers - New Mask Layer - from image - find your mask and click okay delete your mask - yes merge with below image Lower the opacity to about 46% Paste it onto your canvas - move it to just before the white layer Resize until happy Dublicate then flip - rearrange until happy Open petitartiste_petit_moineaux (14) (little flower) - resize and colourize to match your tube Add a dropshadow of your choice Paste your main tube as a new layer - move it to the right of the canvas Add a dropshadow of your choice Open petitartiste_petit_moineaux (17) (paintbrush) Resize until happy If the paintbrush is blurry then go to Adjust - Sharpness - Sharpen More Using the pick tool rotate your paintbrush - add it to the bottom of the canvas frame Adjust - Sharpness - Sharpen More Add a dropshadow of choice Select the layer called curl Effects - Distortion - Curlicues - with these settings
Add a dropshadow of choice Select your eclipse tool - doesnt matter the width. Just make sure it is a colour that isn't in your tag Draw a circle round the tag Select on any other layer Select your text tool - move your cursor to the circle outline Write any saying you want - I used Artist at work and Splat Once happy convert to raster and your dropshadow Delete the circle Add your name and copyright information Save Hope you enjoyed my tut |
